Looking for something fun to do with all those leftover yarn bits? I stumbled upon these Yarn Script instructions by Teri from Giddy Giddy and decided this project would make a perfect diy kit for a snowy day.
To claim one of these fun kits along with a ton of other awesome swag, be one of the first 100 lucky shoppers at The Craftshow Before Christmas on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the The Wildey Theatre (252 N Main St, Edwardsville, Illinois). The Craftshow Before Christmas is a one day craftshow featuring some of the hippest artists from Edwardsville, St. Louis, and surrounding areas. It ain’t your grandma’s craftshow!
Gather your supplies.
Connect the two chenille stems.
Twist them together so they lay flat.
Wrap the yarn around one end of the yarn pressed onto the chenille stems. This will hide the end and secure the yarn in place.
Twist the yarn back around the chenille stems to cover the tail end of the yarn.
Trim the extra yarn and lay the end flat against the beginning end of the yarn.
Repeat with another color.
Keep repeating with new colors until the chenille stems are covered. Tie the end with a small knot.
Bend into any word or shape you can imagine!
