Wow – last fall was amazing! I participated in the Garden Heights Art Walk for a second year and Craftoberfest: An Indie Handmade Night Market at Urban Chestnut Brewing Company. It was also so exciting to become an artist at The Foundrie, but the best part of the season was getting to work with so many sweet people.
Having a chance to work with someone new to create a unique accessory that is exactly what they want is such a cool opportunity. Here are a few scarves that were born from those collaborations.
Denise liked the chunkiness of this Cerulean Blue Chain Cowl…
and the colors of the Woodland Rainbow Infinity Scarf…
I combined two techniques I use to create other scarves and made this Woodland Scarf Necklace for her.
I absolutely LOVE how Denise’s idea came to life and plan to make more in other colors this winter.
Bernadette liked the ombre blue tones of this Teal Blue Ombré Scarf Necklace…
but wanted a fuller look like the Pink, Gray & Black Scarf Necklace…
I created this extra chunky blue ombré scarf necklace for her.
Sometimes the people who make me smile everyday help to inspire new cozy looks. I had ten skeins of yarn begging to be made into…something, and was completely stumped. My two wacky children had the best advice – “just use them all!” So I did, and made this cute handwoven rainbow collar.
Thanks for reading! More to come…
